If your New Year’s resolution was to be on time you can get back on track with your goals and be reliable again with the following tips:
Learn how to schedule: schedule your commute, how long it takes you to do something and any personal time so there are no conflicts. Track your commitments on a calendar or a time-tracking app. It’s best to add a little extra time for everything.
Use reminders and notifications on your phone, which will signal its time to move on to the next task. Change the wording in your head, instead of saying,” I have a meeting at 2:00,” say “the meeting begins at 2:00.”
Prioritize sleep and be ruthless with your time, “if it’s not on your calendar it doesn’t get done” should be your attitude. Sleeping is essential, be sure to get between 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night.
How do you make sure you’re never late? Are you chronically late? What are you committed to changing so that you can be on time more?
