5/18 Miss Jabberwocky Scholarship Pageant Presented by the Delta Sigma Theta Soroity, Inc., this pagaent  awards scholarships to high school aged girls in the Omaha area Mid-America Center (Council Bluffs)    
5/24 Celebrity Flag Football Game The "Let Me Foundation" is having a celebrity flag football team, teaming individuals with disabilities to play a flag football game.

There will also be mini-contests at halftime and between quarters for prizes.

7/14-7/18 BE Ready Basketball Camp Omaha native and former Burke basketball star Ben Ebong is coming back to share his professional expertise and experiences with youth.

The 5-day b-ball camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game & stress important like skills.

Scholarship application deadlines are May 10.  Registrations due June 1.
