Supporting our customers

We realize many of our customers are facing challenges of their own right now. For this reason, we have made the following changes effective until 30 days after the end of a state Directed Health Measure. At that time, we will re-evaluate these moratoriums.

~ We suspended all disconnections for non-payment
~ We are waiving all late payment charges
~ We suspended cancellations of the level payment plan for non-payment

Based on recommendations by the CDC, OPPD’s walk-in customer service offices are closed as of March 17, 2020, until further notice. For customers who pay their utility bills at OPPD facilities or at Moneygram locations, we recommend alternative payment methods to limit person-to-person contact.

Customers may pay bills:
     ~ Online
~ Download OPPDConnect app available in the App Store or Google Play
~ Mail a check or cashiers check to OPPD
~ Leave cash payment in the drop box located at Energy Plaza
~ Call 402-536-4131 in the Omaha metropolitan area, or 1-877-536-4131 outside of the metro calling area.

We urge customers who have questions or need assistance to call or email us. Our customer care representatives will work with you to arrange additional options and can get you connected with the proper resources.
