He continued to DJ for various events throughout out the community – graduations, block parties, and birthdays. Since then he has rocked stages from Omaha to Hawaii.

When asked what has kept him running and striving forward after all this time his response was “ I did not get into this career to make a ton of money, I did it for the love of making other people happy.”

From performing in front of her mirror with a hairbrush to posting cover-song videos on YouTube to singing on the American Idol stage, Alyssa Siebken has always had a fire for music.

“It may sound really cheesy or cliché, but singing & entertaining has been a thing for me since before I can remember,” Siebken said. “I was once given a microphone at a wedding when I was 4 years old. I sang the Men in Black theme song and, since then, have never wanted to get off of the stage.”

After years of practicing, learning guitar & writing music, Siebken took her talents to the one place she had dreamed of since she was young… American Idol. Following a golden ticket to Hollywood, Siebken continued through several rounds of the famous “Hollywood Week” and landed a spot within the Top 75 contestants.

Since her stint on the show, Siebken has used the notoriety to propel her music career that much further. She often performs around the metro area including opening for several national acts, such as Ben Rector, Jake Miller and Dean Lewis.

“I try my best to live boldly & passionately every day, and I feel like this works well for me in most aspects,” said Siebken. “Everything I have done in my life thus far has prepared me that much more for ‘the next step,’ and my hopes are to continuously learn & grow.”
