Kelly Clarkson says John Legend is soundtracking her breakup

Kelly Clarkson says John Legend is soundtracking her breakup

Weiss Eubanks/NBCUniversalKelly Clarkson is back for season two of her daytime talk show and she’s revealing which album is getting her through her split from husband Brandon Blackstock.

In a preview clip of Monday’s season two premiere of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly tells her guest John Legend that she’s been listening to his Bigger Love album post-breakup, despite it not being a typical angsty breakup album.

"This is a testament of how good this album is," she says. "If this album can be so great for someone like me, who just really wants some Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette at this point, like it's a great album."

She adds, “It just makes me happy, I love it.”

Among her favorite tracks are "Wild," "Favorite Place," "Ooh Laa" and "Conversations in the Dark."

Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon back in June after seven years of marriage. They share six-year-old daughter River Rose and four-year-old son Remington Alexander. Kelly is also stepmom to Brandon's children from a previous marriage: Savannah, 18, and Seth, 13.

She tells ABC Audio she's past the most unpleasant part of the experience.

"It's good. We're doing...well, I'm doing really good, my husband's very excited," she tells ABC Audio.  "I'm about halfway through, so... good times!"

Thanks to "I Hope," Gabby is nominated in a few of the top categories at the upcoming Country Music Association Awards, which air on ABC November 11.  She credits her time on American Idol -- where she came in third, behind Maddie Poppe and Caleb Hutchinson -- for getting her ready for the big time.

Watch Pink & Keith Urban connect across an ocean in new video for

Watch Pink & Keith Urban connect across an ocean in new video for "One Too Many"

Capitol NashvilleAfter giving the song its TV premiere last night on the ACM Awards, Pink and Keith Urban have now released the socially distanced video for their duet "One Too Many," which you can now watch on Keith's Facebook page.

Pink filmed her part of the clip in Los Angeles, while Keith did his part in Sydney. Keith is shown floating on a couch in the middle of an ocean, with no one to keep him company except his guitars; Pink, meanwhile, is on a beach singing wistfully into the distance.

As the two sing the duet -- about two partners who are struggling to communicate while one battles a drinking problem -- we see various other people floating in the ocean on couches and recliners, including couples and some buddies who are partying together.

While the two appear together in a few shots, that's only through the magic of editing.

At the end of the clip, Keith is standing on his couch playing a guitar solo, while Pink dances on the beach.

"One Too Many" is on Keith's new album The Speed of Now Part 1, which comes out on Friday.

Harsh! Gwen Stefani Photoshops picture of Blake Shelton over pic of ex-husband

Harsh! Gwen Stefani Photoshops picture of Blake Shelton over pic of ex-husband

ACMA2020/Getty Images for ACMIf Gwen Stefani's ex-husband ever doubted that Blake Shelton has completely replaced him in her life and in her heart, all he needs to do is look at the photo she posted last night on Instagram.

The picture shows a very young Gwen posing next to a photo of a young Blake. She's wearing what used to be her signature crop top and totally '90s makeup. Blake is shown with shoulder-length hair and a cowboy hat, neither of which he currently sports.

The caption reads, "#datenight @acmawards w my boo @blakeshelton gx." The couple performed on the ACM Awards Wednesday night.

But, as Billboard points out, the original photo featured Gwen and her former husband, Gavin Rossdale of Bush. The new pic features Blake's face Photoshopped over Gavin's. Gwen posted the original on Instagram in September of 2014, 11 months before she filed for divorce. The two were married for 13 years and have three sons.

One fan commented, "Gavin is literally out the picture. Blake and you look adorable together."

But another fan noted, "Although you may try, you cannot erase history or the past. True 90s kids know Gavin is in the original pic. Smh."

Lady Gaga says she considered taking her own life

Lady Gaga says she considered taking her own life "every day"

CBS SUNDAY MORNINGIn a new interview airing this weekend on CBS Sunday Morning, Lady Gaga reveals that prior to releasing her album Chromatica, she considered suicide "every day"

Describing how she felt in the time leading up to writing the album, Gaga tells CBS' Lee Cowan, "I mean, honestly, Lee, I just totally gave up on myself. I hated being famous. I hated being a star. I felt exhausted and used up.”

Showing Cowan her piano, she says, "This ruined my life."

Then, speaking directly to the piano, she says, "Look what you did. You can’t go to the grocery store now. Look what you did. If you go to dinner with your family, somebody comes to the table. You can’t have dinner with your family without it being about you. It’s always about you. All the time it’s about you.”

Gaga says during that dark time, and struggling with the PTSD she was suffering from due to her being sexually assaulted at age 19, "I really didn’t understand why I should live other than to be there for my family. That was an actual real thought and feeling.”

Asked directly if she thought about suicide, Gaga says, "Oh yeah, every day. Yeah, I lived in this house while people watched me for a couple of years, to make sure I was safe.”

However, there's a light at the end of the tunnel: Gaga says she's finally come to terms with her fame, with the support of friends like Elton John.

“I’m right here,” she says. “I don’t hate Lady Gaga anymore. I found a way to love myself again, even when I thought that was never going to happen.”

You can watch the whole interview with Sunday at 9 a.m. ET on CBS.

If you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, or worried about a friend or loved one, help is available. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 [TALK] for free confidential emotional support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even if it feels like it, you are not alone.

Taylor Swift's "obsessed" stalker sentenced to 30 months in jail

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic After pleading guilty to stalking and making threats against Taylor Swift, a federal judge has sentenced Eric Swarbrick to two and a half years in prison.

Forbes reports that, in 2018, a then-26-year-old Swarbrick began deluging Swift's former label, Big Machine Records and CEO Scott Borchetta, with letters in emails asking if he could meet the "Me" singer.  However, his correspondences became increasingly sinister by threatening rape and violence against Swift.

Prosecutors say Swarbrick drove from his hometown of Austin, Texas, to Nashville to personally deliver his threats on at least three occasions and even managed to gain entry into the building.

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department arrested Swarbrick on August 2, 2018 after he was found walking the label's halls and Swift filed for a restraining order.

Following the arrest, Swarbrick began threatening in his letters that he would rape and murder Swift before taking his own life in front of Borchetta and his staff.

Swarbrick pleaded guilty to stalking and for sending threatening letters.  He was sentenced Wednesday to 30 months in prison and will serve three additional years of supervised release.

According to KVUE, Swarbrick was a former school bus driver for the Eanes Independent School District, but was terminated by his employer in 2018 when it became aware of the reports.

Swift was left shaken by the incident and revealed to Elle in March 2019 that she fears for her safety, telling the magazine, "My fear of violence has continued into my personal life. I carry QuikClot army grade bandage dressing, which is for gunshot or stab wounds."

"Websites and tabloids have taken it upon themselves to post every home address I’ve ever had online," she continued. "You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things."

Britney Spears tells fans she's trying to

Britney Spears tells fans she's trying to "find more ways to give myself more self-love"

Michelangelo Di Battista/Sony/RCA via Getty ImagesDespite her ongoing conservatorship legal battle, Britney Spears is remaining upbeat and even shared with fans on Wednesday that she's rediscovering what makes her truly happy.

Posing in her signature peasant midriff top, Spears asked fans on Wednesday to tell her what brings them joy.

"Ask yourself today … am I truly happy ??? What makes you happy ... coffee early in the morning ??? Dancing for hours ??? Making lots of plans for the day then canceling," the "Toxic" singer queried.

She hopes that by connecting with fans over their life pleasures, she can discover more of her own.

"I am trying to find more ways to give myself more self-love," the 38-year-old singer affirmed, adding that it will also lead her to "feeling confident in my divine feminine body."

"I experience so much joy and passion ..... and always try to find ways I can demonstrate that to you all," she shared, adding that she hopes her followers are "also finding ways to find joy and happiness."

Spears' post was uploaded the same day as her court hearing over appointing Andrew Wallet as co-conservator of her estate, a request made by her father James "Jamie" Spears

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Grammy winner opposes Wallet's appointment, saying he will be too expensive to afford since she no longer wishes to perform.

"To this date, Britney has not resumed performing and has stated that she does not desire to do so at this time," her court documents state, noting that Wallet "has been extremely expensive in the past."

Spears expressed that she wishes to work with "a corporate fiduciary" who can "offer both a physical office and a team" to work with her over "difficult budgetary choices" and not "a single individual, hand-picked by her father, who is a complete stranger to her."
